Recent Contacts is a feature in Lotus Notes 8.5 that collects a list of contacts based on e-mails you send and receive. You can use “Recent Contacts” to create a permanent contact with just a few steps.
You can easily open your calendar or an appointment that appears in your “Day-At-A-Glance”.
You can save e-mails in your "Documents" (or "My Documents") folder instead of taking up valuable space in Outlook. The less you store in Outlook, the more efficient it runs. This process works the same in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003. Please see additional videos on saving e-mails in newer versions of Outlook.
It can be a great time saver to save multiple e-mails in your 'Documents' folder at one time. This will allow you to delete the e-mails from Outlook and free up valuable space. The less you store in Outlook, the more efficient it runs.
Sometimes it is necessary to save an e-mail or group of e-mails so that you have them if you need them in the future. You can store these e-mails in your ‘Documents’ folder and free up much needed space in Outlook. You can save an e-mail only, an e-mail with attachments, or multiple e-mails (with or without attachments). This video pertains to Outlook 2003 & 2007 only.
