How to Turn Voice Navigation On/Off in iMaps (iPhone/iPad)

If you do not want to hear the voice navigation on your iPhone (or iPad), you can turn the voice off, or change the volume. There are still some reasons that voice navigation will not work on your iPhone. If you have tried several “fixes” and the voice navigation still does not work, you may have to contact your cell phone carrier or even Apple Support. Siri MUST be turned on for voice navigation to work. This video is shown using iOS 6, but it works the same in iOS 7. New video for iOS 7 coming soon!

How to Change Default Program that Opens Images (Windows 8)

When you open an image that someone sends in an e-mail, it opens in the "Photos" app in Windows 8. This app is limited in what you can do with the image after opening. You can change the default program that opens images so that it is Windows Photo Viewer (the photo viewer that was used in Windows 7, Vista, and XP). This will allow you to work with images as soon as you open them, no matter how you open them.

How to Use iPad as a Personal HotSpot (iPad)

You can now use your iPad as a personal HotSpot. This means you can use your iPad to generate a Wi-Fi signal that you can use to connect other devices to the internet (i.e. laptop). This video will walk you through the steps to connect your laptop to Wi-Fi using your iPad HotSpot. This video is shown using iOS 6, but it works the same in iOS 7. New video for iOS 7 coming soon!

How to Send an e-mail to a Category Group (Outlook 2010)

How to Create a New Contact Folder in Outlook (Outlook 2013)

You may want to create a new Contact Folder for a number of reasons. One reason would be to keep some contacts separate. In this example I am going to import a list of old contacts and I only want to mail to them one time. Then I am going to delete the list because all my contacts sync with my smart phone and I don’t want the additional 200 names to be in my smart phone.
