If you would like to see messages sent only to you (not any other recipients), in a different color, you can use “Conditional Formatting” in Outlook 2013 to accomplish this.
If you would like to keep track of e-mails you send that you are waiting for an answer on, you can
create a “Waiting for Answer” rule in Outlook 2011. You will create a folder to store the e-mails and a rule that checks all incoming mail for a specific term in the subject line or body of message.
Receiving an alert for every e-mail that arrives can be very distracting. You will need to disable all the sounds on your iPhone or iPad in a couple different areas. This will ensure you only
receive the alerts you want to receive. This process is shown on iPhone, but works the same on iPad.
