If you do not want to hear the voice navigation on your iPhone (or iPad), you can turn the voice off, or change the volume. There are still some reasons that voice navigation will not work on your iPhone. If you have tried several “fixes” and the voice navigation still does not work, you may have to contact your cell phone carrier or even Apple Support. You can now use your iPad as a personal HotSpot. This means you can use your iPad to generate a Wi-Fi signal that you can use to connect other devices to the internet (i.e. laptop). This video will walk you through the steps to connect your laptop to Wi-Fi using your iPad HotSpot. This video is shown using iOS 6, but it works the same in iOS 7. New video for iOS 7 coming soon!

If you have an iPad, iPhone (or iPod Touch), you will probably want to be able to view notes you create on one device on all of your devices. You will need to make sure that iCloud is turned on for all the devices, and that “Notes” is ON in the iCloud Settings. The iPad only uses one account for Notes and that is iCloud. On your iPhone you have to option to choose the default account. When you select iCloud, as the default “Notes” account on your iPhone, all notes will be shown on all devices. This process shown on iOS 6, but it works the same in iOS 7.

Most of the time you can fix any minimal performance issues on your iPad but powering it down and restarting it. In some case you will need to reset the iPad to factory settings.
