If you use multiple iDevices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) with your Apple ID, you may have trouble keeping the downloads for your devices separate. To ensure that you don’t automatically download items (apps, music and books) that you download on your personal device to your work iPad or iPhone, you can change a few settings on those iDevices.

You may not have all the calendars showing on your iPhone and in Outlook. This could prevent you from seeing events that you create in Outlook on your iPhone, or vice versa. It is easily remedied. You will want to make sure you are displaying all the calendars on your iPhone as well as in Outlook. This process is shown on iPhone, but works the same on iPad.

You can set it so that no Face Time calls or alerts will be silenced. You can set it so Face Time calls from your “Favorites” are exempt from “Do Not Disturb”. You can also turn on “Repeated Calls” to allow an important Face Time call to come through if someone tries to Face Time you repeatedly. When you have “Do Not Disturb” turned ON, a sliver of a moon will appear next to the time at the top of your screen.

There is a new way to search your iPad for apps, e-mail, contacts, and anything else on your iPad. The location of Spotlight Search has been moved in the new iOS. Pull down on any screen to bring up the search field. Type in what you are looking for and you'll quickly find whatever you are looking for on your iPad.
