There may be times when you want to capture a photo of what is one your iPad/iPhone screen. This tutorial will show you how on iPhone 6 and 6 plus, and new iPads.This process shown on iPhone 6 with iOS 8. Sleep/Wake button has been moved to the top right side of the new devices.

At sometime you may have a need to view your list of ‘Recents’ calls while you are using your iPhone. You can use the “Recents’ list to add a call, or just view the contact information of someone you recently called/called you. This process shown using iPhone with iOS 8.

Control Center: Commonly used settings can now be accessed in the “Control Center”. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to view. It is available on any Home Screen, in the Lock Screen, and even in an app. When a feature is enabled the icon will be white. In Control Center Settings you can allow or deny access on the Lock Screen and within applications. This process shown on iPhone using iOS 8.

You can easily send Contact information via e-mail or Text Message as a vCard. This will allow the recipient to add the contact information to their contact file in Outlook (or other email program), or on their smart phone or tablet. This process shown on iPhone with iOS 8, but works the same on iPad with iOS 8.

If you receive a text message or e-mail with a reference to a date or time (or both), the iPad/iPhone converts them to a link that you can tap to create an event on your calendar. This process is shown on iPhone with iOS 8, but works the same on iPad. The same link will be created if this was in a text message as well.
