Last week we talked about the axiom “15 Saves 60” and that it’s useful to use to your advantage small blocks of time on a daily basis. It can enable you to achieve greater efficiency and productivity in managing your day and your daily business priorities. Once you have this daily process in place, you can also start budgeting your time for ANY activity that can benefit from advanced planning/review. Activities where it would be beneficial to review/plan the “details” or specifics, in advance. I say this because sometimes in the “rush” to get things done, we don’t always take a few minutes to insure we are best prepared for the activity have planned. Here are some possibilities that might lead to other time saving opportunities:

• Pre-planning for individual status calls with team members.
• Reviewing customer specifics before making an important follow up call to them.
• “Wrap up & Prep”; note taking, action items, follow ups from last call/meeting.

When you start to schedule these small blocks of time, you can start to see the benefits of using this type of scheduling.
