How to Create and Use “Waiting for Answer” Rule (Classic Outlook on Windows)
If you would like to keep track of e-mails you send that you are waiting for an answer on, you can create a rule in Classic Outlook. This rule will allow you to assign a category to the e-mail before you send it out. Then when you create a “Waiting for Answer” rule that applies to the category, a copy of your e-mail will be placed in a “Waiting for Answer” folder. This will allow you to check your “Waiting for Answer” folder to follow up on e-mails that you needed a response for.
