Time Saving Outlook Shortcuts – Steve’s Blog Week 26

As we leverage technology, my hope for you is that you will be consistently looking for ways to continuously  improve your productivity and efficiency. A great way to do this, is to use shortcuts when you are working on your computer. Microsoft Outlook has a number of great keyboard shortcuts and I would like to give you some of my personal favorites.

  • Send an email CTRL + Enter
  • Reply to an email CTRL + R
  • Close any Outlook item (email, Calendar invite etc.) EsC (Your escape key/escape hatch)
  • If you have an email open , move to the next email CTRL + >
  • Open a new email CTRL + N
  • Go to the inbox from any other folder Shift + CTRL + I
  • Move the open email to any folder Shift + CTRL + V
