I wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I am retiring on April 3rd to enjoy time with my family and to thank you for the help you provided to me in my career over the years. There are things I learned about time management from you many years ago when I was at Schwan’s that continue to be helpful today and the training programs that you and your team provided to my team here at Caribou have also been extremely helpful in making us more effective and efficient. Over a nearly 50-year career, I have participated in MANY training programs but yours have been the most practical. They are not all theory and buzzwords. They are focused on real-world application in “our” business. We did not work with data sets that made no sense to our business, where we then must go try to apply them after the class, we were actually changing our business during the class! We were working with our schedules, our emails, our data.
You company has also been the only one that provided ongoing support after the classes. You provided access to your experts months, (and even years in one case), after the training to help us understand something that has us stymied. Sometimes we had a question for which we just need about 10 to 15 minutes with an expert and you made them available. We tried not to abuse that kindness, but you never hesitated to offer help for those quick questions. Where others would have immediately jumped to consulting engagements, you simply connected us with someone who could share their knowledge and get us moving again. You might not even realize how rare that is.
So once again, I just wanted to thank you for personally and professionally. Best wishes to you and your entire team in the coming years!
