How to Use ‘Concatenate’ to Combine Data in Multiple Columns into One Column (Excel 2010/2007/2003)

There are times when you may have data in multiple columns that needs to be combined into one. You can use the ‘Concatenate’ function to easily accomplish this task. In this example we will take two columns that contain a first name and last name and combine them into a column that contains the last name a comma and the first name. You can combine the contents of two or more cells. This process will work the same in Excel 2003, Excel 2007 and Excel 2010.
